• Fancy finding a book about my heritage!

  I went looking into my past, knowing my Hannaford heritage, and, having moved to an area where the Hannafords resided, where my grandmother was created, my interest was piqued. Fancy finding a book that contains my history all the way back to 1790 - the very years I had only vague ideas about!
  My brother did all the research some 40 years ago, and I was totally aware of William and Susannah Hannaford as being the 'pinnacle' of his years of searching. Now I have a concise and convenient record in a book that I can add to the years I already have.

  Great lot of family history for the Hannaford and Wallis families. I would love to hear from Alan with regard to this family tree.
  I have interviewed Bruce Wallis a descendant of Leslie Benjamin Wallis and Enid Isabella Hannaford for my assignment for Oral History with UTAS. I am a room assistant at Gold Coast Family History Society and Bruce is a very dear friend.
  I purchased the book a couple of weeks ago and gave it to Bruce for his 84th birthday. He has the companion book about Susanna Hannaford (Elliott).
