The 'Visitation of Devonshire' was carried out in 1620 by Henry St George and Sampson Lennard who documented the pedigrees of the families in the County of Devon.

The book contains over 400 family names and the pedigrees are arranged in alphabetical order. An index of the names and places mentioned in the pedigrees is also included.

Published by the Harleian Society, the full pedigrees (tree diagrams) of families, are in alphabetical order, and an index is included, as each family also contains names of other people marrying into the family. Also includes transcripts of parish registers and other notes relating to some families. The pedigrees in many cases go back many generations before 1615 to Norman times.

High quality scanned images of the whole of the original book, bookmarked for easy navigation. Pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
