My great great grandparents left UK on this ship bound for Australia with two small children. This book tells a sorry and harrowing story of the journey which ended with only one child still alive. It is an excellent document to have as an avid ancestry researcher.

A eye opening edition of how my ancestors survived the journey from Ireland on the Beejapore arriving in Brisbane in 1863. With the loss of two young children their determination to seek a new life in Australia was instrumental in how I am here today and able to seek out and research their lives.
