SAMPLE ENTRY (from 16 January 1929 issue):

Stealing from the Person
Sydney.--A warrant has been issued by the Central Police Bench for the arrest of ALBERT EDWARD NYE, charged with attempting to steal the sum, of 16s. from the person of Edward Lloyd Sanders, at Sydney, on the 30th November, 1928. Offender is about 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, dark complexion and hair, brown eyes, scar on right side of chin; a clerk;a well-known pickpocket; usually dressed in a dark-blue suit, and a grey felt hat. Identical with offender Edward Johnson, alias Albert Farrell (vide Photo.-book 104, page 293). Offender was arrested for this offence, but failed to appear on bail at the Central Police Court on the 7th instant.
