Colonial Secretary's Office, Melbourne, 8th December, 1854.
WHEREAS EDWARD RYDER effected his escape from the Main Depot, at Pentridge, on the morning of Sunday, the 3rd of December, disguised in female clothing: Notice is hereby given that a reward of Five Pounds will be paid to any person who will give such information as will lead to the apprehension of the said EDWARD RYDER.
By His Excellency's Command, J.13,556., JOHN FOSTER.
