A fine record of this early Adelaide Hills community. Most of the book is devoted to the various pioneer families. But it also includes accounts of the early land surveys from the late 1830s and the various social, religious and commercial and institutions of the district.

Originally published in 1947 and reprinted in 1979, but both editions have been out of print for some time.

This CD contains high quality scanned images of the whole of the original book, and has been bookmarked for easy navigation. Pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
