This product is sold as a CD SECOND or SPARE.

"CD seconds" or "spares" are perfectly good data wise, but have been put aside due to:

faulty label printing, e.g. off colour or misaligned. A few have been manually labelled or corrected
over-produced initially, so offered as "spares" to clear

They are all offered at 60% to 90% discount (from the normal price). They will be supplied in clear CD sleeves, rather than the normal CD cases. In many cases they are the last available, i.e. they won't be available, even at full price, when sold out.

The Queensland Baptist is a monthly newspaper of the Baptist Association in Queensland. This publication contains all issues of this newspaper from July 1951 to December 1960.

Each issue contains articles on issues of the day, topical articles, news from Baptist churches throughout the state of Queensland, missionary news, and inter-colonial news. They also often contain reports and statistics of different kinds, articles on different people, obituaries and articles on Queensland churches as well as stories, poems and letters. They even include advertisements of local businesses (ie. bookshops, monumental sculptor, funeral director, insurance, hotel and furniture store).

Totalling over 1,700 pages, this resource is useful for those with not only an interest in Church histories, but also for those with ancestors who where prominent members in the Baptist churches of Queensland, or those with an interest in the social history of the state.

SAMPLE ENTRY:

Obituary - MR. J. P. BENFER
Mr. John Phillip Benfer, a much-loved and highly-esteemed Life Deacon of our Nambour Church, passed to his Eternal Home on the night of July 16. Three months earlier, his family and friends, together with other officers of the Church, rejoiced with him on his eightieth birthday.

He spent his life vigorously and with a great sense of responsibility toward Christ as Lord. He first settled in the Nambour district in 1900 and in those early years contributed greatly to the establishment of the Christian Church in the area, by regular preaching activity. He often conducted three services a Sunday and travelled up to thirty miles on horseback to a preaching appointment ...

High quality scanned images of the whole years worth of issues. This CD has been bookmarked for easy navigation, and pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
