Written by Charles Rogers in 1889, this two volume work is a genealogical and historical account of the larger, more extended Wallace family of Scotland.

Sir WIlliam Wallace himself left no direct heirs, and in Volume 1, the author concentrates upon other branches of this populous Border family. In conclusion, there are numerous lines, including over 40 braches identified either by precise locale or by a regional, city, or county localtion.

Among the many included are the Wallaces of Ayr, Lanark, Fife, Paisley, Stirling, Aberdeen, Banff, Elgin, and Edinburgh, each one of which is noted in a separate chapter. There are as well chapters on Wallaces in England and Ireland.

Volume 2 deals with information on the life and times of Sir William Wallace, as well as includes sections on individuals prominent in his day.

This CD consists of scans of the original books, which can be browsed, enlarged and printed if required. Please note: it is not searchable.
