    • victims of sheep stealing or straying
Example entry taken from the 2 October 1908 issue:
HOUSEBREAKING.
NORTH-EASTERN DISTRICT (LAUNCESTON). - Between 8.30 and 9.45 p.m. on the 26th ultimo the dwelling-house of Norman Routley, situate 68 Arthur-street, was feloniously entered, and the following stolen therefrom: - 1 18-carat gold lady's ring, set with 5 diamonds; 1 gold pearl spray brooch; 1 plain gold brooch, 15-carat; 1 curb-chain gold bangle, with padlock attached, 9-carat; 1 "Nellie Stewart" bangle; 1 pair gold sleeve-links, heart-shape; 1 18-carat gold collar stud; 1 white-metal jewel-case; £3 or £4 in gold, silver, and copper; 1 stick Pear's soap; 1 box Pear's herbitine soap, value £50; the property of and identifiable, with the exception of the money, by the above. Entrance effected by a front window, which was left unfastened.
