Polson Cemetery is located in Corser Street, Point Vernon at the northern end of Hervey Bay in Queensland. It takes its name from one of the pioneers of the area Charles Polson, a bank manager, who originally owned the land on which the cemetery is located.
This database contains information on 3,393 people buried in Polson (Hervey Bay) Cemetery between 1887 and 1999. For each person the following fields have been indexed: Surname, Given Names, Date of Burial, Area (Columbarium, Lawn, Monumental), Section, Grave Number, Comments (generally if a reserved site or if ashes have been placed in another grave), Religion, Occupation, Age, and Where Born. All fields are searchable.
