This is an account of a South Carolina family, located along the Enoree River, the boundary between Spartanburg and Laurens counties, primarily on the north side of the river. The progenitor of this particular line was Robert Cunningham Hanna, 17 years old at the time of the census of 1790, and the son of Robert Hanna and his wife Mary. Robert Cunningham married Mary Davis and spent his entire life on the Enoree River.
