This book is divided into three parts, part 1 gives the details chronologically, of the date of execution, the name given in legal documents, and where possible, the name of the victim and the circumstances of the crime. The date and place of the trial follow with the confirmation of the execution.
Part 2 is an analysis or index, alphabetically, giving the name of the person hanged, the crime, the place of execution and date. Then a breakdown of numbers executed at each venue, and the racial origin of those executed.
Part 3 gives the name of everyone sentenced to death in Western Australia but not hanged (communted, suicided or other), up to the abolition of the death penalty.
