This is a collection of three separate works relating to the history and genealogy of this
famous Scottish family of Anglo-Norman origins. Included are:
- The Comyn entries from The Scots Peerage, edited by Sir James
Balfour Paul. Material is provided for the Earls of Angus, the Lords of
Badenoch, and the Earls of Buchan;
- The Cumyn chapters from Family Records of the Bruces and the Cumyns,
by M. E. Cumming Bruce;
- "The Cummings of Glenrinnes," by Alexander Gordon. These articles appeared
in the volume for 1908 of "Aberdeen Journal" Notes and Queries.
This CD consists of scans of the original books or articles. These can be browsed,
