It includes timetables and fare information for public transport such as railways, trams, coaches, river steamers, costal steamers and taxi-cabs. As well as listing a wealth of other public service information such as postal services, stamp duties and money order rates, a directory for state government departments and official information, tax information, directory of societies, hospitals, clubs and schools, a list of suburbs and how to get there, lists of businesses together with wage information, and much more.
Giving further insight into the South Australian community in 1919 this book is useful for those with an interest in South Australian history, as well as those with ancestors in the State.
Originally produced by Archive CD Books Australia in 2006, this title has now
been remastered and re-released, and includes better searching capability. This
