Government Gazettes are a unique, useful and extremely fascinating resource for local, family and social historians and researchers in other fields throughout Australia. They were published by the government as a means of communication to officials and the general public and therefore contain information that is of great use in establishing an image of Australia and its people in the past.

NOTICE is hereby given that, after the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof. application will be made to this Honourable Court for the Sealing of the Probate of the Will of John Strange Norton, formerly of Mungindi, in the State of Queensland, but late of Sydney, in the State of New South Wales, retired Customs officer, deceased, granted by the Supreme Court of New South Wales, in its Probate Jurisdiction, at Sydney aforesaid, on the twelfth day of November, 1907.
Dated this sixteenth day of January, 1908.
