| Kenilworth is a small town, in the upper Mary Valley area of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. This is a rural area, about 50km from the coast, with dairy farming as the major industry. The town originates from a cattle station set up on the east bank of the Mary River in 1850.
While not a large book, the 'Kenilworth Centenary' describes in brief the history of the discovery and early settlement of the Upper Mary Valley country, which includes Kenilworth and other areas and places surrounding the Brisbane River in Queensland.
Covering the founding, pastoral and early settlement eras, it also includes information on the pioneer clergymen, and the treatise on the Upper Mary Valley.
