Written by Leonard Allison Morrison in 1896, this monumental work gives a genealogical and biographical history of the family in Normandy, in Scotland, England, and Ireland, as well as providing a full biographical and genealogical record of many branches in Canada and the United States.
There are as well over 150 portraits of individuals. There is significant material as well on the Cilley, Clark, Hodgdon, Jones, Merrill, and Norris families.
