This history concentrates upon a county in the northeastern corner of South Carolina. It contains information on many families of Scottish and Welsh descent, including in particular McCall, McColl, and McLaurin, but with additional information on McLeod, Brown, Lee, Cox, Irby, Cochrane, Spears, Vining, Gillespie, Thomas, Parker, McCoy, Leggett, and Bennett.
