Register of Electors for the Parliamentary Borough of Wakefield for the years 1911 to 1919, combined with the Burgess Rolls for the years 1911-12 and 1912-13. (No electoral registers were published in 1916 & 1917). Also includes Absent Voters Lists for 1918 and 1919, showing men who served in World War One. They give name, home address, unit, rank and number.

These registers and rolls are presented by Ward & Division with each arranged alphabetically by street, giving the name of voter and address. The previous address is noted when the voter has moved during the previous year.

These annual registers and rolls provide an excellent resource linking the entries of the decennial census. They also provide a good reference to the dates families moved between census.

In the case of those individuals in lodgings the extent of the accommodation is noted: E.G. Bed Room (sole) Sitting room (joint) 1st floor furnished.

Over 2000 pages of information. Useful for family and local history research
