'Truth and Progress' was the monthly magazine of the South Australian Baptist Churches from 1868 to 1894. This CD contains every issues from 1868 to 1880.

One of the main objects in starting the magazine was to begin frequent channels of communication with the churches, and to record and report important works in the church. These included conversions, baptisms, Sunday School and much more. Also included is the index compiled Rev. G.D. Crabb cover all years (1868-1894) of the Truth and Progress periodical. The index contains topics and names.

This product is a great tool for those interested in the history of the Baptist Church in South Australia, making information that is difficult to find easily accessible on CD.
