London.Although distribution arrangements haven't been finalised, it's certain that Ealing's film about Australian pianist Eileen Joyce will get nation-wide booking as-a double feature. It was made in Ealing's Pagewood Studios by young film director Michael Gordon. Although opening and closing sequences actually show Eileen Joyce during a concert performance the film story is wholly concerned with the childhood struggles of a very small girl with an ear for music to get somewhere near a piano and scrape up enough money from hard-pressed parents for lessons ...
