Compiled by William Herbert Scott, and published in 1923 the "Leeds in the Great War, 1914-1918: A Book of Remembrance" is a record of the effects of the Great War as it affected Leeds. Divided into three parts "The Story" a general narrative of events at home; "The Record" giving accounts of activities individual and collective (including the Leeds Territorial Units) and finally "The Roll of Honour" a list of those from Leeds who gave their lives for their country.

An excellent resource for local, family and military historians.

High quality scanned images of the whole of the original book. This CD has been bookmarked for easy navigation, and pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
