The first is written by Henry Thompson, and publishes in 1879. 'History of Ackworth School During its First Hundred Years' is an extensive history of Ackworth Quaker School in Yorkshire, throughout its first century. It also includes details of the building's initial use as a Foundling Hospital.

Plus a 'List of Ackworth Scholars from 1879-1930 compiled by Isaac Henry Wallis, and published in 1932. This gives pupil's name, year of entry, residence and year of leaving). Complete with an index of surnames.

Plus 'Ackworth School 1779-1929', is a brief history of the school including many photographs.

Plus 'Proceedings of the Ackworth Old Scholars' Association Part XX'. Published in 1901, this contains an alphabetical list of members with their name and address, marriages of Ackworth Old Scholars 1900-1901 and memorial notices.
