ANTILL PONDS (42° 10' S. lat., 147' 27' E. long.), named after Major Antill, of the 48th regiment, a post town and telegraph station in the county of Somerset, electoral and municipal district of Oatlands, 68 miles N. of Hobart, on the coach road to Launceston.
