Ideal for putting in your bag and taking with you to the genealogy society or archives office ready for a day of research. No more pads of paper with the pages falling off - its all here in your Work book for you to record
This book is designed to assist the beginner to start recording their family tree, though the experienced researcher will also find the book to be a helpful tool as well.
The work book starts with a Paternal Ancestor Chart (5 generations), and a Maternal Ancestor Chart (5 generations). These are followed by family group sheets and notes sheets for each couple through to great-great grandparents. The family group sheet is used to record details, which the notes page can be used for recording sources and other information. It gives you plenty of room to write, with each page a full A4 size.
So practically any piece of information that you happen to find in your research can be jotted down into this book. So no chance of you loosing bits of paper anymore with this - its all in the work book.

An ideal way to have your History at your fingertips.
Record your direct ancestors and all known details and there is no need to log onto the computer every time you wish to share your story.
Such a useful work book.

This book has been a Godsend as it has allowed me to check the records I have, and those I have yet to find, as well as ensure my sources are cited.
I have made a few minor adjustments to the book which have given me some extra room.
I have started as if it were my parents' families that were the first generation of research, so that gave me an extra generation to include at the end (because I know I can go back that far at least).
Also, I have kept the workbook to my side of the family (4 lines) and have bought another for the Husband's side.
Lastly, I have put coloured stars on the corner of each page to code each family line so I know which part of the family I am looking at. This matches my FTM colour code.
Hope the authors don't mind!!! It is a pleasure to fill in, particularly when I have 'screen eyes', but I would recommend an erasable ink pen so it is neatly completed.
GREAT IDEA FOR KEEPING DETAILS
