A great deal of our history lies on the seabed off South Western Victoria where there have been several hundred wrecks. As the author of many standard works on Australian shipwreck, Jack Loney has compiled this authoritative 'follow up' to the stories of major wrecks along these shores in 1891 adding additional details and correcting misconceptions passed down through several generations.
The second section of 'Wreck - 1891' presents a further selection of early maritime stories, with a strong emphasis on south eastern Australian waters.
The book is illustrated by several maps and many photographs, several until now unpublished.
