As Censuses are organised by Registration Districts, which do not necessarily correspond with county boundaries, a set of census records for a Registration District may omit some places within a county, and/or include places from adjacent counties.
This CD contains the records relating to Worcestershire that are listed in the Staffordshire 1861 Census (item GBC1861STF). But for those that don't want to buy Staffordshire set but are interested in Worcestershire, this is for you - but note that these entries WON'T appear in the Worcestershire Census when it is released.
Whole census peices are included, and therefore the places included are those on both side of the county boundary, and include a very large part of Worcestershire. Places such as Cakemore, Cradley, Dudley (huge!), Halesowen, Hasbury, Hawn, Hill, Lapal, Luttley, Oldbury, Ridgacre, Warley Salop and Warley Wigorn.
