As Censuses are organised by Registration Districts, which do not necessarily correspond with county boundaries, a set of census records for a Registration District may omit some places within a county, and/or include places from adjacent counties.
This CD contains the records relating to Wiltshire that are listed in the Glouchestershire 1861 Census. But for those that don't want to buy the Glouchester set but are interested in Wiltshire, this is for you - but note that these entries DON'T appear in the Wiltshire Census.
All of these pieces do appear on the Gloucestershire 1861 Registration Districts set (C1861GLS).

Whole census pieces are included, and therefore the places included are those on both side of the county boundary. Places include: Marston Maisey, Oakley, Poole Keynes, Shorncote, Somerford Keynes, and adjacent places in Gloucestershire.
