During the outbreak of pneumonic influenza in 1918-1919, strict health regulations were enforced to prevent the spread of this highly infectious disease. Border camps were establshed to keep all people entering Queensland in quarantine for a period of seven days.

This database contains details of the name of the person, occupation, address, the date they left Queensland, married/single or widow/er, the camp number and the Queensland State Archives reference. The registers themselves contain signatures and remarks and some other details.

This pub,lication contains details on 2,554 people who are listed in the Wallangarra Quarantine Admission Registers during the outbreak of prnumonic influenza in 1918-1919.
