The 'Victorian Year Book 1877' is full of statistical information about the Colony of Victoria. It contains nine sections: a Blue Book section, Finance, Population, Law and Crime, Interchange, Production, Accumulation, Vital Statistics, and a Religious, Moral and Intellectual Progress section. This particular volume also includes a Table of Principal Events which occurred in 1877 and a range of statistical summaries.
A unique feature of this year's issue is that the statistical data relates not only to Victoria and the other Australasian colonies, but also to other British dominions and Foreign countries throughout the world.
