This small booklet was written as course notes for lectures that Graham Jaunay (a South Australian professional genealogist) gives, and  is designed to aid the researcher based in Australia to learn how to access records in Scotland. The book examines the specific issues researchers may encounter when researching in Scotland and advises what the most useful records are, where they are located, their coverage, and any issues relating to them.
