| This is a historical account of the famous MacCrimmon family, its origin and genealogy, its relationship to the piping college on Skye and MacCrimmon legends, and the family's relationship with the MacLeods.
The work contains references to the great piping families of the Highland and Islands, particularly MacArthur, Mackay, Ranken, Campbell, and McIntyre.
Also included on this disc is The MacCrimmon Family, by George C.B. Poulter and Charles P. Fisher (1936), which looks more particularly at the descendants of Iain Odhar MacCrimmon of Borreraig, Glendale, Skye, and of other MacCrimmon pipers of note.
