Reprints of Old Ordnance Survey Maps. More than 1000 titles have been published so far in this series, with more in preparation. Most are based on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch (or 1:2,500) plans and are reduced to approximately 15 inches to the mile. The original maps are extremely bulky, measuring some 40 x 30 inches. The maps are so detailed that virtually every house is shown. The complete track layouts of railways and tramways are shown, as are collieries, factories and docks.

Reduced in scale, the maps are produced using high quality camera work and are attractively presented. They are folded for easy of handling. Most titles also include an essay on the history of the area, often with extracts from a contemporary directory. The overall ambition is to issue maps for all major towns and urban areas in the United Kingdom.
