The South Australian Genealogy and Heraldry Society has prepared new resources amounting to 141,371 marriage registration entries up to 1916. All three publications (books, microfiche and CD-ROM) contain the same data, albeit presented differently in accordance with the particular medium. The information provided:

• surname and given names, age and marital status of the groom and bride
• fathers names of groom and bride
• date, and place of marriage
• registration district and registration book and page reference numbers
• explanatory and supplementary information is also provided

Available in book, microfiche or CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains the marriage database of 141,371 marriage registrations entries and Digger software. It permits a search by any combination of fields in the database. In information may be viewed with one complete record per screen or in a list mode showing one record per line. Search results may be ordered alphabetically or chronologically, in ascending or descending order. Sorting most fields is possible. Search results containing 200 or less records may be exported to printer or disc. There is an extensive on-screen help facility for using the Digger software and the database. Simple of complex searches may be undertaken, and wild cards may be used in any field. The CD-ROM is packaged in a standard jewel case which contains a small booklet. This is then enclosed in and envelope with a licence agreement.
