'South Australia Pre-Civil Registration Deaths' is a database bringing together the known material including some not so obvious records, to present all the deaths in the period leading up to June 1842 on the one listing. Used in conjuncition with the previously published pre-1841 material from Graham Jaunay, the user can gain an excellent insight to their family's very earliest days in the colony.
This particular CD also complements the South Australian Unregistered Death and the South Australian Lonely Graves publications.
Compiled in a database format, and consisting of over 1200 entries the information listed contains: Death Date/Burial Date, Surname, First Name/s, Occupation (often lists s/o or d/o of ..... & .....), Age, Cause, Residence, Death Place, Cemetery Celebrant, and Source. The information can be browsed or searched, and entries can be looked at in a listing or individually.
This is a unique, and useful resource for all with early South Australian connections.
