Now available for you to own on CD, is the Somerset 1841 Census, which comes as a set of 9 CDs. The CDs contain high quality images of the census books digitised from the microfilm, and where missing pages or poor images have been detected additional images taken from the books have been added.
Please note: Censuses are organised by Registration Districts, which DO NOT necessarily correspond with county boundaries. A set of census records for a Registration District may omit some places within a county, and/or include places from adjacent counties.

The CD set covers the whole of Somerset as it appears on the 1841 Census fiche (except this is far superior quality - so is much easier to read).
