This booklet is designed to help family historians who have decided to write a history. It is a result of reading many such books and a period as a judge of a family history award. Many of the suggestions in this book are just that. They are designed to assist you to produce a readable book at an affordable price.

Written specifically as course notes for lectures that Graham Jaunay (a South Australian professional genealogist) gives. While not going into everything in depth, this book does give a good overview of the things to do and be aware of when publishing your family history.
