This Sidlaws or Sidlaw Hills as they're sometimes known, are a range of hills in Scotland that extend for 30 miles (45 km) and are to the north-east of Dundee.
Encompassing the towns of Lundie, Auchterhouse and Strathmartine, this CD includes the monumental inscriptions from the local churchyards as well as including a comprehensive gallery of photographs of the headstones of all three churches.
The inscriptions have been transcribed and appear in the order that they are in row-by-row in the cemeteries. From a quick look Lundie burial dates range from 1708-1980, Auchterhouse 1736-2002 and Strathmartine 1677-1927. Each entry is given a reference number, which you can use to check the photograph/s available for that headstone. An index is included for easy reference, but the CD is searchable using Adobe Acrobat.
