Compiled by a number of people, edited by Stuart Fleming, and published by the Scottish Genealogy Society, this is another title along the lines of their Scottish Monumental Inscriptions Pre-1855 Series, however this one goes beyond 1855, covering the period 1666-1995.
This volume brings together the monumental inscription to be found in four Churchyards all located in Liddesdale in Roxburghshire. The Castleton Churchyard, Ettleton Cemetery, Saughtree Cemetery and St Mary's Chapel, Hermitage. The entries have been recorded in full, as well as indexes for easy reference.
