For those of you who either don't have access to the internet, or don't wish
to pay for viewing the census online, (but do still wish to look at original
census records), don't forget that you can always buy them on CD. The bonus with
this is that you've then got them for whenever you need to look something else
up in the future.
Now available for you to own on CD is the Huntingdonshire and Rutland 1901
Census together on a single CD. This contains high quality images of the census
books digitised from the microfilm. Please note: Censuses are organised by
Registration Districts, which DO NOT necessarily correspond with county
boundaries. A set of county census records may omit some places within a county,
and/or include places from adjacent counties.
Link to street indexes to browse the areas and streets where your ancestors
possibly lived. The CD covers the whole of Huntingdonshire and Rutland as they
were in the 1901 Census. Features of the CD set are: the ability to magnify an
area to see further detail, and print the current page. There is also a place
name index included, to help you find which CD you should be looking at.
