The fighting record of the Australian Army, Navy and Air Force in the Korean
War of 1905-53 was exemplary and deserves to be remembered as a great
achievement.
'Remembering Korea' was written to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the
Korean War, and was first published in 2000. George Odgers' text is a very
readable account of the events of the war, paying tribute to the Australian
servicemen and women who bravely fought and served.
Now reprinted and updated this edition is illustrated with more than 70
photographs, includes a complete and updated Roll of Honour, and lists more than
18,000 Australian who served in Korea. 'Remembering Korea' is a fascinating
chronicle of the Korean conflict and Australia's involvement in it.
