The Queensland Baptist is a monthly newspaper of the Baptist Association in Queensland. This publication contains all issues of this newspaper from January 1961 to December 1970.

Each issue contains articles on issues of the day, topical articles, news from Baptist churches throughout the state of Queensland, missionary news, and inter-state news. They also often contain reports and statistics of different kinds, articles on different people, obituaries and articles on Queensland churches as well as stories, poems and letters. They even include advertisements of local businesses.

Totalling over 1,900 pages, this resource is useful for those with not only an interest in Church histories, but also for those with ancestors who were members in the Baptist churches of Queensland, or those with an interest in the social history of the state.

CALLED HOME - MISS ANN MORRIS
The members and friends of the Dalby Baptist Church lost one of their most esteemed and well-loved members on August 3, when Miss Ann Morris, 63 Condamine Street, Dalby, passed away to be with her Lord and Master.

Miss Morris was born at Dayboro in 1895. In her younger days she lived on Goomburra Station, previously owned by the Leslie Brothers. She was one of eleven children, ten of whom have survived her.
