Theodore is a small rural town of about 450 people on the Dawson River, 559 kilometres north-west from Brisbane. It is named after Ted Theodore, Premier of Queensland (1919-1925) and then later Treasurer of Australia (1929-1931). The cemetery is located at Woolthorpe Road, Theodore.
