Gin Gin is a small rural town of about 900 people located on the Bruce Highway - approximately 50 kilometres west of Bundaberg, and 370 kilometres north of Brisbane. It is situated on land that was once part of Gin Gin Station. The earliest death recorded on a headstone in the cemetery is that of Elizabeth Mountford in 1890 aged 36 years.
This database contains information on 1,061 people buried in Gin Gin Cemetery between 1890 and 2009. For each person the following fields have been indexed: Surname, Given Names, Date of Birth, Date of Death, Age, Comments (where appropriate) and the headstone photograph on which the name occurs.
