Records of births/baptisms, marriages and deaths/burials are vital for family
historians. It is impossible to trace pedigrees without consulting them.
Civil and parish registers are particularly important, but are not the only places
where you can find relevant information.
In this series, author Stuart Raymond described the wide-range of resources
available when searching English, Irish and Scottish records, advising where
they can be found, and how they should be used.
