The Heraldry and Genealogy Society of Canberra has as one of its objective, the recording of tombstone and other memorial inscriptions. The genealogical and historical information displayed on memorials is an invaluable aid to research and is often unavailable from any other source.
This volume comprises transcriptions of headstones and burials from cemeteries located in the Harden Shire. The cemeteries selected fall under the responsibility of the Harden Shire Council and include Harden-Murrumburrah, Currawong, Galong, Jugiong and Wombat. Please note the transcripts are not a word-for-word transcript, as wording such as "in memory of" or "rest in peace" has been omitted. All names, dates and other relevant genealogical information has been included.
