This London Directory has been divided into four sections: Street Directory; Street Directory Suburbs; Court Directory; and Court Directory Suburbs.
The Street Directories (both London city and the suburbs) give a house-by-house listing the occupant of each house or business (usually only one name is listed, often together with an occupation).

The 'Court Directory' section became the place where ordinary private residents were listed. Later, the section was renamed 'Private Residents. This is arranged alphabetically by surname.
This CD book contains an phenomenal amount of information on people who were in London in 1905.
