As Censuses are organised by Registration Districts, which do not necessarily correspond with county boundaries, a set of census records for a Registration District may omit some places within a county, and/or include places from adjacent counties.
This CD contains the records relating to Leicestershire that are listed in both the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire 1861 Censuses. But for those that don't want to buy either the Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire set but are interested in Leicestershire, this is for you - but note that these entries DON'T appear in the Leicestershire Census.
Whole census pieces are included, and therefore the places included are those on both side of the county boundary.
