Description

Campbell Town District High School is proud to be associated with the stories and history recorded here. In order to understand the present, young people must have an appreciation of past lives and the forces which have shaped our contemporary world.

To achieve this insight Campbell Town students have assisted in the restoration of the Old Cemetery and talked to local people whose memories and perspectives transcend the narrow period of a young person’s life. in doing so they have touched local history and begun a journey of understanding.

This book reflects the lives of previous generations. It will be a useful work of reference for young people and adults in their search for knowledge and an understanding of our past. The stories will lead to a greater appreciation of the community and its achievements.
