Compiled by the Herefordshire Family History Society, this CD is a compilation of over 50,000 monumental inscription entries from throughout Herefordshire, and as it is a work in progress, this is the second release of this CD.
The information supplied contains: Surname, Forenames, Paref, Date Died, Age, and Parish.
The data is supplied in multiple formats:
- .doc file for reading using Word
- .wdb for reading with Microsoft Works
- .mdb for reading with Microsoft Access
- .csv which can be read in a database/spreadsheet program like Excel
From a quick look over the data, the inscriptions include those that died in the 1700s right through to the late 1900s. Which makes this a very useful reference CD for those with connections to Herefordshire.
